House of the Hatter:
Tastemaker event

SCOPE: Brand Showcase Event, Creative concept, Partnerships, Execution

ROLE: Founder & Creative Producer

TERM: 1 night in Brooklyn, NYC

Leave your inhibitions at the door.

An impeccably-curated, digitally-minded social event for artists, brands, and their future advocates to experience the Alternative Now. Learn about a party that altered the way brands gain influence - cutting out agency.

On a perfect Brooklyn evening, magic unfolded. This invite-only soirée brought together cultural tastemakers from media, hospitality, and entertainment for an unforgettable night.

An influential brand showcase disguised as a high-design house party—attendees still talk about it years later.

CONCEPT:
Leverage personal connections with brand-builders, media, and cultural influencers in order to expose some of the most exciting brands, creative studios and artists in my personal world: Hendrick’s Gin, MakerBot, Topo Chico, One Thousand Birds, etc.

Maybe I secretly wanted to throw a killer Brooklyn house party on someone else’s dime.

In any case, guests were selected, physical invitations and “activation tokens” created, a one night only brand developed, and an event thrown. Very “high touch”.

Guests were encouraged to explore and interact with each of the brands’ stations and were rewarded with collectible tokens that once gathered fit into a custom 3D-printed keepsake case.

The event showcased live art & music, novel brand discovery moments & unexpected delight.

We even provided goodie bags and a map of nearby partner venues for the “afters”.
